IRISH MISSION REUNION April 2, 2010

Many new faces and a lot of old faces met to renew decades old friendships last Friday, April 2. Mike Kenelly probably traveled the longest distance to attend: Jupiter, Florida. Unless you count Donald & JoAnn Tolman who recently returned from their mission to Ireland. Those attending totaled about 82.

Another yummy meal was prepared by our Chef-In-Residence, Tom Harkness and his crew. After dinner we all met in the Chapel. Donald & JoAnn Tolman, who returned from their mission to Ireland this last December, gave us an inspiring report. You can view their blog at: http://irelandmiss.blogspot.com They were followed by the special testimony of Sister Veronica Jensen, a convert from Galway (Maybe she traveled the longest distance?). We were then treated by hearing from President & Sister Covey. He reported that she is determined to get out of the wheelchair and has post-it notes all over the house with cusswords like "Dang it, I'm going to walk." Don't forget to mention her in your prayers.

  1. Enjoyed the pictures. Sorry I couldn't make it but we work in the temple and it was our night to serve. Hope to be there in October.
