BREAKING NEWS !
Tom Harkness received a call from Jennifer Spence Huthinson saying her mother had called from Ireland they had read a letter from the First Presidency in sacrament meeting saying the Ireland Dublin Mission was being dissolved as of July 1, 2010. The mission will be combined with Scotland Edinburgh Mission and will be called the Scotland Ireland Mission. Tom called Raymond Lowry and he confirmed they were combing the missions. He said President Creer, the current mission president, was doing an excellent job. They only have sixty missionaries at the present time. He said they had been discussing the matter for the last year and a half. The lack of growth and the economy had a great deal to do with the decision to close the mission home in Dublin. The Church is combining many of the European Missions at this time. There will be an article in the Church News in the next couple of weeks. If you hear any information let us know.
