Sister Covey came out to the Gary McGiven viewing on Thursday evening We were delighted to see her and she walked on her own with the assistance of her walker down the long chapel hall. Her comment at the last reunion to me about something I said in the reunion announcement concerning her was, Elder Harkness,"I am not in the grave yet!!" She has a fighting spirit with much faith.
President Covey was unable to attend because he has been ill and under the weather for the last month. In conjunction with fast day, a week from Sunday, we would like to remember both President and Sister Covey in our prayers and fasting. I thought all of us could kneel in prayer at 5:55 PM on Sunday evening to petition the Lord for his choicest blessing on the Covey's. Please keep both of them in your thoughts and prayers
