REUNION REPORT - MARCH 30, 2012

Céad Míle Fáilte!
"One hundred thousand welcomes!"

Some really old faces showed up this time: J. C. Hart who recently retired from the auto business and just moved to Saratoga Springs In Happy Valley plus good old Brent Barlow. Thanx you guys, for showing up so I wouldn't be the oldest one there.

Some sincere apologies are needed here: During the reports Lonnie Mayo was overlooked (somebody poke Bob Hyte with a sharp stick!). Lonnie and his wife served a full term mission in the San Francisco and Oakland area. Lonnie related to me that one of the highlights was teaching english in San Francisco's Chinatown. Maybe next time we'll get to hear the details.

We also heard from both the Neeley's & the McBride's who just recently returned from their missions in the Scotland-Ireland Mission, serving on opposite ends of the Emerald Isle. What great stories they told.

The Covey's arrived in their souped up hot-rod van.

Dinner at these gatherings just keeps getting better: BBQ'd steaks & chicken. All the trimmings plus strawberry shortcake with all the whipped cream you could take!

Go mbeire muid beo ar an am seo aris!
"May we be alive at this time next year."
