President Covey Update

I just talked to Sister Covey a few minutes ago. I had talked to her on Saturday when I returned from the Manti Temple. President Covey had been released from ICU and had been sent to the rehab center of the hospital last Thursday. Unfortunately he had developed two blood clots, one in his lung and the other in his right arm and they had returned him to the ICU at the hospital. Sister Covey said President Covey had been up and walking several times on Saturday. When I talked to her today she sounded very concerned about President Covey. Last night his blood pressure fell to 40 and it took them over a hour and a half to get his blood pressure up to a reasonable level. She said she had received many cards from the missionaries and she wanted to thank each of you for your kindness and especially your prayers and fasting on behalf of President Covey. Please continue to pray for President and Sister Covey. I appreciate the concern of all the Irish Missionaries and saints. Our love goes out to both President and Sister Covey.
