The
viewing time for President Covey's viewing on Friday night has been changed to 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM an
hour earlier than previously reflected on the Berg Mortuary website The
Shamrock Society has sent a floral spray from all of the Irish
Missionaries for the viewings and funeral. If you wanted to donate to the
Shamrock Society fund it would be welcome but NOT necessary. We also
plan to send Sister Covey a nice plant arrangement in the next couple of weeks
after the trauma of this weeks event is over.
We thought for the upcoming October Irish Mission reunion that we would ask each of you to write a missionary experience you had with President Covey, have them typed and bound and give the bound book to Sister Covey. We will send out more information on this later.
THERE WILL BE A SPECIAL SEATING SECTION SET ASIDE FOR AT THE FUNERAL FOR IRISH MISSIONARIES AND THEIR FAMILIES. Not knowing the configuration of the events center we have been told we will probably be sitting at the side of the family near the front. We will try to arrange for a few of the missionaries to direct us to our seats or have directions posted.
Thank you all for your love and support to Sister Covey and her family. Sister Covey has expressed to me her thankfulness and love for each of the Irish missionaries for their prayers, kindness and messages since President Covey's passing.
