Barbara Madsen Moosman

Barbara Madsen Moosman, 72, of Orem, Utah returned to our Heavenly Father after a courageous battle with cancer, on the morning of October 20, 2013.
Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and daughter. Barbara was born on July 12, 1941, to Leland Preston Madsen and Myra Gardiner Madsen. She was the oldest of 5 children. Barbara was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served a mission to Ireland for the church.
She married the love of her life, Theron J. Moosman, on December 2, 1972, in the Provo LDS Temple. Barbara was happiest when surrounded by her family and loved being a grandmother. Over the years she took in many children, that were not her own, to care for them and give them the love that they deserved. Barbara’s primary purpose in this life was to serve others and to serve the Lord in any way that she could.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband, three children, two brothers and 8 grandchildren. She is now reunited with both her parents and her two sisters, Janet Crandall and KayLynn Madsen.
Family and friends may attend a viewing held at the Sundberg-Olpin Funeral Home located at 495 S. State St. Orem, Utah 84058 on Friday October 25, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at the LDS church house located at 400 E. 400 N. Orem, Utah 84097 starting at 1:00 pm. Grave side services will be held at the Orem City cemetery.

The Shamrock Society has sent flowers to the family expressing our great love for Sisiter Moosman. We pray that her family will be comforted in this trying time. We ask you keep Sister Moosman's family in your prayers. May the Lord bless each one of them with comfort and peace.
