Victor Emery Willey 
(October 28, 1941 - November 20, 2014) 


Victor Emery Willey, 73, of Salt Lake City, died November 20, 2014
He was born to Reed Everington and Annie Emery Timpson Willey, on October 28, 1941, in Salt Lake City, UT. He graduated from West High School in 1960. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Northern Ireland from 1962-1964. He served in the Utah Army National Guard from 1960-1966, including active duty during the Berlin Crisis, and was honorably discharged. He graduated from Utah Technical College at Salt Lake in mechanical drafting. He married Marie Rees on December 15, 1967 in the Salt Lake Temple. They were later divorced. He loved writing, singing, dancing, drawing and entertaining.

He is survived by his five children, Gordon (Michele) Willey, Diane (David) Nielsen, Darlene (Mark) Wangsgaard, Mark (Olga) Willey, and Deborah (Joe) Alvarado; two sisters, Jeanne (Gordon) Buchi and Linda (Mark) Udy; and eleven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Kenneth Paul.

He will be buried at the Utah Veteran’s Memorial Park with military honors. Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 30, 2014, at the VA Cemetery, 17111 S. Camp Williams Rd, Bluffdale, UT.
